i have had anus bleeding 3 times now, i had it early last year and it was only a little bit and it happened just that once, and it was bright red watery blood but not painful, then i had it again later when i was fasting, but again it was painless and not alot, then i had it again this year and was just the same, but it was a little bit more than the last two time but it was red and watery again and i found it quite hard to get the stool out each time and it was quite painful, not alot just a little bit, and that happened for two days and then it went again like it does every other time, but i never went to the dr's everytime that happened and my mum would nag me to go but i just was too embarrased and i promised her if it happened again i would definatly go. I also wanted to say does not drinking water have anything to do with it? i was just wondering because i dont really drink water at all, but since the last time i had the bleeding i have tried to drink atleast 2 glasses of water, i know its stupid that i dont drink it but i just cant get my self to lol,but all in all i havnt noticed any more bleeding. should i be worried? and does not drinking water have anything to do with it? what can i do to prevent it from happening next time? i no i asked alot of questions lol but any answers are aprecciated and thank you in advance! xxx

i have crohns disease in which if you dont know what it is...Crohn’s disease is an ongoing disorder that causes inflammation of the digestive tract, also referred to as the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Crohn’s disease can affect any area of the GI tract, from the mouth to the anus, but it most commonly affects the lower part of the small intestine, called the ileum. The swelling extends deep into the lining of the affected organ. The swelling can cause pain and can make the intestines empty frequently, resulting in diarrhea. so hence hemmoroids in which cause fissulas and blood in my stool and clots so get checked for hemmeroids or bowel cancer if you have diarreah alot get checked for crohns just a thought

During a bathroom visit my bowel movement was not very successful. My rectum/anus was not large enough to pass a large, hard bowel movement. In the process I believe I ripped, tore, scratched my rectum/anus, and I was bleeding briefly. It looked like I started my period, and when I checked it was not. After wiping the first time it looked like a period from my behind, however, the second time I wiped, and since then no bleeding persists. The pain I felt at the time made it apparent that the bleeding was from my rectal region. It was a painful experience at the time, and a few days later it persists. What can I do to relieve the discomfort? It hurts. I am afraid to poop again anytime soon.

Ok people I hope this helps, I suffered from this problem for years, extreme pain and bleeding, pain like you can't imagine, like passing shards of glass! Bleeding more and more heavily over the years and it just started as you are describing above. Every few months and then weeks the problem would occur, I became weaker and weaker. The doctors would prescribe one thing after another and nothing really worked, just irritated it more. I was struggling to work (as a teacher) standing there in excruciating pain high on painkillers that just took the egde off the pain, constantly going to the toilet to wipe away the blood. As you may well know from experience I was living a hell on earth! Finally I went to see a doctor at Fawkham Manor Hospital in Kent UK. He did every test imaginable to find out the cause and came up with no real cause for the problem. However this doctor knew exactly what he was talking about and said it would take a simple operation to fix. He said the bowel muscles were tightening up and some oh the fibres would need to be cut, this could of course leave me incontinent if not done precicely. Considering the pain I was in I agreed to this. The operation was simple, recovery took four weeks and I thank thelord that I have never had this problem since. I went through years of suffering but the cure was simple! All I can say is that I hope this helps all of you and if you are suffering the early stages of this then see a doctor because in the long term it will become unbearable!

I have been feeling unwell for about six months and lost about 2 stone in weight. My GP has arranged for quite a few tests including an MRI scan of head and neck because of suffering from headaches and a stiff neck. This and all other tests have all been clear.Including a chest x-ray. Yesterday I started bleeding from my back passage,it was bright red blood. My doctor has examined me for Piles but cannot locate any and is now sending me for more tests. I understood because blood was bright red in colour that it probably came from lower down, is this a correct assumption/

I'm 19 and whenever I've had a poo and wiped myself, there's been a small amount of blood on the tissue but there has been no pain at all. I just assumed there was a small tear on the anus that would heal but last night when I wiped myself there was alot of blood and blood in the toilet but still no pain or discomfort. I'm not sure what this is and would be grateful if I could get some advice other than 'see your doctor'
